The Richmond Sunflower Festival is a seasonal outdoor event that celebrates peak sunflower bloom across several acres of farmland. Featuring over 20 sunflower varieties, walking paths, photo spots, and a curated selection of local food vendors, the festival offers a bright, joyful experience for all.

It’s designed for all ages — whether you’re looking for a peaceful stroll, a family outing, or a chance to capture some great photos. Opening dates are coming soon! For full event details, hours, and what to expect:

🌻 Getting to the Festival

Address:

12900 Steveston Highway, Richmond, BC

Located just off Highway 99, near the Highway 17A junction. Free on-site parking available.


🚗 Directions by Car

From Vancouver: Take Highway 99 South, exit at Steveston Highway, and turn left (east). The entrance is just a few minutes down.

From Surrey or Delta: Take Highway 99 North, exit at Steveston Highway, and turn right (east). Follow signs to the entrance.


A Few Things You'll Find Out Here

Along with the sunflower fields, you'll find life-sized dinosaurs, rows of dahlias and gladiolas, a full wildflower section, a wagon ride, and a train that circles the property.

Vibrant flower rows with distinct colors and structure. Open for photos and walking paths.

🌻 Wildflowers
A designated area filled with seasonal wildflowers—open for viewing and photography.

🚜 Wagon Ride
A slow, open-air ride through the farm that runs throughout the day. No booking required.

🚂 Train Ride
A small train that loops around the sunflower field. Great for families and festival-goers of all ages.

🦖 Dinosaurs
Large, animated, and impossible to miss. They move and make noise throughout the day.

Country Vines Winery 🍇

Just steps from the Richmond Sunflower Festival fields, Country Vines Winery offers handcrafted, small-batch wines made from grapes grown in Richmond and the Okanagan Valley.
Located right on the same farm, the winery is a short walk east of Richmond Country Farms Market—just follow the signs in the parking lot.
Hours During Festival Season
🕛 Monday–Thursday: 12 PM – 7 PM
🕗 Friday–Sunday: 12 PM – 8 PM

• $5 tastings (waived with bottle purchase)

Country Farms Market 🍓

Right next to the sunflower fields, Richmond Country Farms Market is a local favorite for fresh-picked produce, baked goods, and seasonal treats straight from the farm.
You’ll spot it as soon as you arrive—it’s located at the front of the property, with plenty of parking and that big red barn you can’t miss.
What You’ll Find
• Locally grown fruits and vegetables
• Fresh pies, jams, and baked goods
• Preserves, honey, and snacks
• Seasonal flowers, plants, and decor
Whether you’re grabbing snacks for your picnic or taking home a basket of fresh BC berries, the market is the perfect start (or end) to your sunflower-filled day.
